ALESSANDRO BATICCI- CV

Active as flutist, composer and electroacoustic performer, Alessandro Baticci is dedicated to the contemporary music repertoire and played in the most important festival and venues such as Wiener Festwochen, Wien Modern, SPOR Festival Copenhagen, Salzburger Festspiele, Wiener Musikverein, Wiener Konzerthaus, performing with Divertimento Ensemble, Klangforum Wien, Ensemble XX Jahrhundert, u.a. He worked with composers such as B.Furrer, S. Sciarrino, T. Murail and B. Ferheyhough. He currently studies electroacoustic composition (under Prof. Karlheinz Essl) and flute (under Prof B. Gisler-Haase) at the University for Music and performing Arts in Vienna and composition (under Prof. B.Furrer) at the University of the Arts in Graz. He is member and co-founder of The Black Page Orchestra, an ensemble for radical and uncompromising music of our time
